Join the Party at INC Street Food
I’ve been going to the Historic Roswell area for several years now, usually when I’m making a trip to one of my favorite tea rooms - the Roswell Tea House. I love strolling the main street and popping into shops like the Brass Monkey and the Antiques Mall for fun gift ideas, but I’ve actually never eaten at any of the restaurants there. More than likely because I’m full of scones and tea.
Was very happy to discover that the restaurant scene in this area has a new buzz happening, with one of the main contributors being INC Street Food.
Details: INC Street Food: 948 Canton Street, Roswell, GA
INC Street Food came to Historic Roswell in early 2010 and their eclectic menu is styled after the market and street fare of Latin America. Brightly decorated walls, hot tempo music and flowing drinks keep the party atmosphere alive, with an actual food truck parked in the center of the restaurant! The servers sport a satchel instead of a typical apron, which is what traditional street vendors wear when selling their wares. But a theme can only take you so far, at the end of the day it’s all about the food and this is where INC really shines!

Executive Chef Richard Wilt has a great history with the food scene here in ATL, spending five years at Roswell’s French favorite, Pastis, two years at Seeger’s and a time at Buckhead beloved, Anís. He is also the executive chef at gastropub concept The Salt Factory Pub, which is right next door to INC Street Food.
Some of the dishes I tried included the Street Queso, which is incredible, as well as the Gaucho Marinated Strip Steak Skewers with Chimichurri salsa - which were amazing. Something I’ve actually never seen on a menu before that INC Street Food offers is Aguas Frescas, which is basically infused waters that are really popular in Latin America. They have Jamaica (hibiscus), Tamarindo (tamarind spice), Coconut and Watermelon flavor. We ordered a Tamarindo and a Watermelon and both were amazingly refreshing.

We went on Wednesday, because at INC Street Food it’s Fiesta Night! The restaurant serves up 5 different styles of Margaritas, with the INC and the Tres Chiles ones being the most popular. Mojitos and Sangria are also offered, as well as a huge selection of regional beers and more than 30 brands of tequila! At 10pm things really get hot, as the DJ spins Latin beats and the dance floor opens up in the back for patrons to practice steamy salsa moves.
But don’t forget to save room for dessert, Chef Wilt offers up classic flan as well as a delicious chocolate empanandas. So good. Seriously.

Atlanta has such a diverse food scene, it was really great to come to a restaurant that was doing something totally different - but also knocking it out of the park. My friend who joined me had spent a lot of time living in South Florida and she was blown away by all the authentic flavors INC was putting out.
So if you’re a fan of spicing up your week with some amazing food in a really fun environment - be sure to check out INC Street Food in Historic Roswell!
