I’m always on the look out for fun new experiences around Atlanta, most of them involve food and entertainment! I stumbled upon a fun idea that would be great for a girl’s night out or a date, the Sushi and Sake Socials at RA Sushi!

Details: RA Sushi. 3/6 at 7pm. $35pp/$60 for 2.

Anyone can go have a sushi dinner here in ATL, what makes these socials unique is that your cost includes a sushi rolling lesson, tasty appetizers, dessert, and a four-course sampling from RA Sushi’s menu paired with the perfect sake. We made all four rolls, which we then got to eat with our sake pairing and it was a lot of fun!

The beverage manager would come out with each course and explain which sake we were drinking and why it was being paired with each specific roll - really interesting! You’re also part of a big group, so it’s a cool dynamic and could take the pressure off a first date.

Several people at our social night this month took their extra rolls home, there was so much food! Ending the meal with the Mochi ice cream sampler was so good and refreshing.
