The Atlanta Opera has a new performance coming up that’s too sweet to resist! The Golden Ticket is based on the classic children’s classic book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl.

A young boy named Charlie finds a “golden ticket” admitting him into Willy Wonka’s top-secret chocolate factory where he encounters chocolate rivers, inflating blueberries, magic elevators and other delights. The Golden Ticket is a poignant tale about wishes coming true.

The Atlanta Opera is also offering a special Family 4-Pack: 2 adult tickets, 2 child tickets and a bar of chocolate for $150! $15 child tickets are also available for all performances of this family-friendly opera!

All songs are sung in English, with English Supertitles and features sets from the Opera Theater of Saint Louis, where the show had its US premiere.
