My pal Lauren Kraselsky (and fellow Texas alum!) over at the cool blog The Quick + Dirty Dirty let me know about a really great benefit happening here in Atlanta on April 30th - Camp Dance! Check out their recap of last year’s event!

This gala is right up my alley - themed to the camper experience! Forget the gowns and pearls, this is all about summertime fun!

Details: Saturday, April 30th 8pm to Midnight at World of Coca-Cola!

Cost: $65+, which includes admission to World of Coca-Cola, live music, dancing, 2 cocktail tickets, fun camp food (mini grilled cheese/corndogs), free wine and beer all night long!

The best part? It benefits an amazing cause - Camp Twin Lakes, which is a network of camps for kids with different chronic diseases or other life challenges.  It’s an amazing place.  Camp Twin Lakes provides 80% of the campership for these kids, so their parents, who are burdened with heavy medical bills, etc, don’t have to pay a lot (or sometimes anything) for their kids to enjoy a week or two of just being a kid. 

So kick up your heels and help send a kid to camp this summer!
